A-f'ing-men Hogryder. I'm so fed up with the baby bike, the Toyotas, Lisa's Honda, her dad's two rice bikes, etc.
I'm ready to go back to real (pre-1965) Harleys. At least the parts are easy to get, you can work on them yourself, no electric starter, nice simple 6 volt electrics, great aftermarket support, and people will help you on the road if they ride an older one also.
The little Suzy sounds like it is ready to self destruct if I go above 60mph. The valve train is chattering again (even with semi truck spec 15W40 oil), the brakes are grabbing again, and the mileage is going downhill fast. 7600 miles, and it sounds like it is ready for an overhaul. Think a KR750 dirt tracker HD mill can be shoehorned in? Ah wel, time to get out the sizzling blue wrench and have some fun.
